 Make recommendations on artistic and cultural interests as well as the community’s parks. Will advise on public art displays, murals, musical events and large-scale ward events. Will work with local Park Advisory Councils.

 The block club chairperson is responsible for supporting his or her community area’s block clubs as well as recruiting leaders for new block clubs. 

CHAIR: Lenise Arnold

 Make recommendations  to the alderman’s office regarding public safety. Will work with CPD, faith leaders, schools and community groups to address public safety and security concerns. 

CHAIR: Vanessa Weathersby

 Makes recommendations, reviews and advances all requests for new development in the community. Responsible for assuring new construction reflects the aesthetics and wishes of the community.  

CHAIR: David Kelly

 Will work with their community and local business stakeholders to create pipelines that connect residents to economic opportunity. Will form relationships with chambers of commerce and local businesses. 

CHAIR: Dominique Wilson

 Make recommendations  to the alderman’s office regarding educational issues in the ward. Works with LSCs and Community Action Councils and shall participate in activities that support our schools.  

CHAIR: Edgar Plata/Khari Humphries

 Make recommendations  to the alderman’s office regarding infrastructure improvements. Will assist in preparing a list of projects for consideration under our menu program.
